The New Year holidays were over, the new term was started from last week.
I returned home in this winter vacation, and I really relaxed in my home.
I saw my family, friends, relative after a long separation.
I think I could spent a long time with my family in this holiday.
The New Year's Day, we climbed a local mountain to see a first sunrise.
But I was very sleepy because we paid a visit to a shrine in the midnight on that day.
Contrary to my sleepiness, the sunrise was very beautiful and we could
see it very clearly this year！
I hope that this year will be a good year for everyone！！
I love the Japanese tradition of watching the first sunrise of the year, but I have only done it twice. My first time was on a beach in Chiba, and we all stood around a bonfire on the beach while we waited. It was worth it. The second time was even better. We watched the sun rise from Enoshima while windsurfers sailed in the ocean. The sight of their beautiful sails in the sunrise was fantastic.
